Celebrate Recovery

A Christ-centered recovery program for anyone dealing with life's hurts, hangups, or habits.

About Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery emphasizes personal responsibility. Instead of being the victim, this program helps people look at the choices they've made and discover what they can do about them. We cannot control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond to it. This recovery program emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ. Lasting recovery cannot happen without this step. Everybody needs Jesus. This recovery program recognizes the biblical truth that we need each other in order to grow spiritually and emotionally. It is built around small group interaction and the fellowship of a caring community. Celebrate Recovery is built on the New Testament principle that we don’t get well by ourselves. We need each other.

About Celebration Place

As you participate in Celebrate Recovery, your children are invited to Celebration Place! We will learn from the children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries, for children that are 5-13 years of age. This Christ-centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Group for adults. We refer to it as our “Pre-Covery” program. We strive to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families!

What to Expect

Weekly Meeting—Celebrate Recovery has a weekly corporate meeting on Tuesday nights. That meeting consists of a time of fellowship both before and after the meeting. Along with the fellowship, there is a Large Group Meeting and an Open Share Meeting.

Fellowship—We have a fellowship meal at 6 p.m. on Tuesday nights, before the start of the Large Group Meeting. There is additional fellowship time following the meeting called, “Solid Rock Cafe.” During these times of fellowship, newcomers are welcomed by leaders of the CR Program and are introduced to the program.

Large Group—The Celebrate Recovery Large Group Meeting features an extended time of uplifting worship in music to our true “Higher Power” – Jesus Christ. Worship allows us to shift the focus from our problems to the God who can bring serenity and transformation. We explore the recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps, and we hear amazing “Stories to Celebrate” of those who are receiving victory over their fears, addictions, attitudes, and behaviors.
